How Essential Oils Work

Essential oils support the body on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.

Essential oils perform many functions as part of the plants immune system, including regulating growth via hormones, functions as plant enzymes, regulating metabolism, and warding off insects.   When we use essential oils, we receive similar health benefits as they aid the body to heal itself, not only by preventing infection, but also by aiding the tissues to repair quickly.

Essential oils have the ability to  nourish the healthy cells and prevent the unhealthy cells from replicating .  They can penetrate through the cell wall and therefore stop the replication of threats both inside and outside the cell, decreasing the time a threat would last.

Our sense of smell is 10,000 times more sensitive than our other senses and we recognise smells immediately.  When you breathe in an essential oil, it is received by the brains olfactory centre, which has a direct link to the limbic system.   Essential oils use the power of their aroma to communicate with the limbic system of the brain, which supports a variety of functions including smell, emotions, behaviour and memory.   The essential oils communicate with the limbic system to recall and release stored memories and emotions.

Essential oils are the life force of the plant and have the highest vibrational frequency of any natural substance.  They help to dispel low vibrational pathogens, creating a healthy chakra vibration, restoring a healthy body, clarity to the mind and peace to the spirit.   High vibrational oils encourage spiritual growth, mid vibrational oils promote emotional change and low vibrational oils support physical ailments.

Have a great day,
